Bukit Tabur Hiking Challenge

The moment I received the invitation, I am very-very excited. Gosh, I've been wanting to climb Bukit Tabur for quite sometime but to plan it myself, nahhhh not in a million years.

Woke up as early as 5.00am. Big plannya ialah to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, due to heavy mist, scenary-nya tidak seperti yang diingini, tapi takpe, scenery-nya still lebih menarik dari puncak casa indah hahahahahaha (love you babe). Ok sebelum hiking, takdelah sempat sangat nak mengoogle habis-habisan, jadi mental saya hanya bersedia untuk hiking ala jungle-trekking plus dd kata it takes about 30mins to get to the peak. Yeah rite, later i found out itu hanya first peaknya sahaja choiiii!!!! I've done some trekking before, jadi ingatnya takdelah beza sangat. Ya ampun, kesudahannya memang tak layak nak panggil jungle-trekking pun, giler hiking tahap gaban nak mampos, ggrrrrr...


Not much pictures taken as I had to keep the camera in my backpack most of the times especially when the trail became very steep and I really have to concentrate on my footing! Apparently, the pictures below do no justice to the real challenges I've done up there :( So if you guys out there are planning for Tabur's hike, please prepare yourself mentally and physically for the very steep and unforgiving climbs & drops. Percayalah, silap sikit memang ada berpotensi jatuh 40m - 120m ke bawah. Seram bangat!!!

Masa ini ingat dah sampai, sekali tengok ada lagi 3. Aduhai, rasa nak pengsan!!!

It took us slightly more than 4 hours to complete the climb up & down. Mananya 30mins hahahaha. Balik ikut jalan kebun, sesak kalau ikut jalan yang sama plus saikoo kuts kalau nak turun ikut jalan yang naik tapi mak aiii jauh giler, boleh patah kaki masa nak turun tu. Apa-apa pun, the expedition were highly enjoyable, of course!!!

1. Mineral water (at least 1.5l)
2. Isotonic drinks
3. Hand gloves
4. Foods
5. Camera
